Logline: Prompted by the denial of his father’s visa, a forlorn shopkeeper sets out to disinform his customers but quickly finds himself heedless of the truth around him.
Samir (60s): A conservative and old-fashioned uncle who owns the shop. He is not married nor has children. He works non-stop as if trying to fill this emotional void. He is totally subservient to his customers, who, for him, are always priority number one. He promises to pass on the shop to Youssef but is clearly unwilling to let go. Samir is of Middle Eastern heritage.
