Casting Call: Synopsis: Original modernised telling of the story of Jekyll & Hyde. This version mainly focuses on how today’s society affects someone with mental health and what someone goes through on their own. Dr Jekyll gets brought into an upper class family and learns a lot more about himself when the family react to him in a variety of ways.
Roles: Daniel: A boy who wants more than anything for the world to see Henry Jekyll for the monster he truly is. He will do anything in his power to show this including manipulating his own family and meticulously framing Jekyll.
Looking for a boy aged between 20-25 years old.
Arthur- The lead man of the household who is very protective over his family. He will protect his family at all costs including trying to arrest Dr Jekyll. He is a wealthy man and thinks before he speaks kind of man. Looking for a man aged between 40-50 years old
Elsie: The lead woman of the household who is very protective over her daughter which proves to be even more trickier when this man (Dr Jekyll) turns up at their door causing trouble. She is a gentle and nurturing woman who is very nervous and scared of the monster that they are holding up in their house.
Looking for a woman aged between 35-45
Arthur & Elsie will be a 1 day shoot Daniel will be a two day shoot
