He’s working on a scroll when he gets a message via carrier pigeon from his old friend, The Astrologer, who gives him news he’s been waiting for for years. He eventually joins his friends, the Astrologer from India and the Mystic from Nubia, and the three of them go to Israel, where they are feted by King Herod, who is greatly interested in their news. The men are unsuspecting of Herod until the Mystic has a vision and becomes wary, passing it on to the Astrologer and the Scholar. The three men sneak out of Herod’s palace and make their way to Bethlehem, where they discover Mary and her baby in a cave, and prostrate themselves before him. 1 speech & 1 line, 5 scenes
