Gail (Female 28 – 33): A working class woman. Gail is Karen’s younger sister and is desperate to reconnect after twenty years. Mother of two sons who are currently in care.

Karen (Female 34 – 39): Middle class Head of Children’s Services. Karen has changed her name to Kate to try to disconnect from her past and move on with her life. Mother of three daughters.

Understudy (Female 32 – 37): We are also looking for someone to understudy both parts. Everyone auditioning will be considered for this unless you ask us not to.
