Khalid: Strong, Brute but caring – 21-35 years of age – Khalid is the primary protector of Layla – Khalid is tied deep with the criminal underworld due to the economic collapse. He gets lumbered up with Layla and has to transport her to the safe haven.
Layla: 7-11 years old – female – She is the only female under 18 years in the world. She is valuable in the eyes of the wrong/dangerous people and is seen as a symbol of hope by the right people. She must rely on Khalid to transport her to the safe haven.
Lyra: 21-25 years old – Lyra accompanies Khalid and Layla on this perilous journey. She is wise, strong and looking to rebel against the tyrants of this world.
