Jade grieves the abrupt end of her friendship with May who she’s been (not so) secretly in love with for 4 years. Filming would take place primarily in January of 2024 in the Hampshire area, and would be paid (rate tbd). Actors must be over 18 to audition.
Casting 4 main characters: Jade – Early twenties, any race. Jade wears her heart on her sleeve when it comes to her best friend, May. Since May is…was her first love, the end of their ambiguous relationship sends her down a spiral of deep grief and pain. Over follows Jade’s attempt to get over May.
May – Early twenties, any race. May is a bright, positive person that can only accurately be described as ‘sweet’. She makes selfish, rash, decisions that hurt those around her but she is a fundamentally good person. May loves femininity. She’s soft and lovely. Her favourite film is Barbie (2023).
Erin – Early/mid twenties, any race. Erin is a powerhouse of confidence and will not tolerate any kind of bullshit. She’s very empathetic and conscious of how words affect people. Erin’s extremely likeable nature makes her the perfect person to push Jade through the universally acknowledge torture that is your first sapphic heartbreak.
