‘Family Matters’ is a drama with comedic elements.

“Torn between independence and leaving behind her wonderful mother, Ava discovers a hidden secret about her estranged father that throws her life into question.”

Looking for Main Cast:
Ava – The Daughter, female, mid-twenties.
Sharon – The Mother, female, early-forties to mid-fifties.
Evan – The Father, male, early-forties to mid-fifties.

Filming takes place in Wexford and Athy, between Oct 8th and Oct 27th2024

Casting for a BBC Film feature written and directed by Deaf artist Louise Stern, set and due to shoot in the UK in early 2025.

Looking for a sparky, independent, 7-11 year old Deaf girl who has mixed black/white heritage to play one of the lead roles in the film. Looking for a girl who can sign fluently.

Actor with American accent aged 18-30 (any gender) needed for a simple social media shoot. Shoot will involve you sitting as a model for a cool SFX makeup look, as well as some light VO narration lines (which we would need a believable or natural American accent for!)

Location would be in either Liverpool or Manchester, and the payment would be £300.
