SYNOPSIS
In this mythical short film, a god of the underworld has isolated himself away from the world, trying to banish the memory of a lost love. Depressed, angry and vengeful at the world above he tries to silence the melody he hears on loop. The melody is a painful reminder of what could have been, another life that he dreamed for himself and his old love long ago. Unable to escape the melody, he must come to terms with the past in order to move on.
Character Breakdown
Hades Playing age 40-50
Hades, god of the Underworld. Once a kind, and compassionate soul, he is now consumed by loneliness, anger, and heartache. He suffers from abandonment and the lingering pain of lost love. Proud and guarded, Hades refuses to let anyone in. Even in his weakest moments, he would rather suffer in silence than ask for help.
Young Hades Playing age 18-25
Young Hades is full of ambition, compassion, and love. Idealistic about his future, he dreams of an eternal life in the underworld with the love of his life, Persephone. Though a compassionate soul, he is neither forgiving nor forgetful. He accepts his fate and quietly commands his growing power as ruler of the underworld.

About Filming

Sophie is a close friend to Laura and plays a major role in helping her settle into the new house. She is brash in expression and often deriding, especially at Jack’s expense, but her defining traits are her loyalty and protectiveness towards Laura.

Synopsis: Peter, an old man, is trying to revive his late wife Evelyn’s beloved garden but his age is catching up to him and he can’t work as hard as he wants to. His efforts alone aren’t enough. In a short flashback, we see the joy of Peter and Evelyn taking care of their once beautiful garden together. A local teenager, Jake, notices his struggles and he and his friends band together to help Peter out with strength in numbers. The garden looks better than ever before and Peter knows that Evelyn would be proud of them.
