Location: Italy! Formed in 1995, Smile aims to teach Italian children the English language through fun and educational shows in schools and theatres. The Smile TIE tour travels across the beautiful nation of Italy, and lets you experience the culture.
Age: 21-32
Applicants must:
• Have a degree in acting or have trained at a drama school (minimum of two years)
• Native English speakers with a British, Irish or EU passport
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and highly skilled at comedy and portraying characters
• Experience leading workshops
• Have experience in TIE tours or schools (preferred)
• Be able to work as part of a team, as actors will be touring as a group
• Contain a full, clean driving licence
Knowledge of speaking Italian is not necessary.
Dates: Applicants will fly out to Bologna on 23rd February in the morning for rehearsals and travel back 26th May. Easter holidays April 6th – 11th to fly back home. All flights will be covered. Accommodation, travel and food expenses included.
