Jackie:
Mid-20s. She is bright, happy-go-lucky, with cutting wit but has a recent history with addiction. Likes to run her mouth on occasion. She discovers she has Endometriosis, and as a result develops an addiction to the painkiller codeine in an attempt to subdue the pain. This causes her to push away those who love her the most.

Nina:
Early twenties. Goth. Approachable and warm. Down to earth and culturally aware. Wise beyond her years. Always tries to see the good in people.

Carla:
Late thirties/forties. Straight-to-the-point, hard exterior but a heart of gold. No patience for timewasters. Managerial. She’s not bossy: she’s THE boss. She doesn’t care what people think of her as long as she’s in control of the situation.
