Joseph age 50-60- a kindly old man who whilst warm and positive on the outside, hides a lot of personal hurt and can show that when alone.
Maddison- Playing age 18- 25- a sarcastic but ultimately friendly young woman who can banter despite being upset by the loss of a loved one.
Younger Joseph- playing age 30’s – fiery and defensive, argumentative-blind to his failings.
Anna- Playing age 30’s- A loving mother from the 1900’s who is tired and sick of Joseph’s failings and is fighting to remove her and her son from him for their own benefit
