Student queer film project is now open to audition for.

Aims to shoot late March early April

CHARACTER 1:
JAMES
The lead role, a young man in his last year of university studying theatre, he has grown up best friends with Jodie. They have spent their entire lives together and know each other inside out. James is an incredible actor but lacks self confidence, especially in his personal life. At university he met Peter who he quickly became close friends with and formed an attraction for, up until this point James had never truly liked someone in this way. He has known since he was young he was gay but has never disclosed it to any of his friends even Jodie. He fears that developing his friendship with Peter into a romantic relationship will lose him a friend in Peter and will push Jodie away losing both of them in the process of following his heart.

CHARACTER 2:
JODIE
Jodie is a final year English Literature student, she grew up with James and knows him inside out. She knows that James is gay, and knows that he likes Peter, she also knows that Peter likes James but is too anxious that James might not be gay to make the first move. Jodie is the one in the flat who everyone goes to with their problems, she is a giving person always has the time to help others and wants the best for all of them. She is incredibly confident and has a reply for everything from growing up protecting James. At university she met Heidi who she fell in love with due to their similar joking nature. The two of them are committed to each other and intend to live together forever and after uni will move in alone together.

CHARACTER 3:
PETER
A final year Film student, who met James in his first student film after James had been cast as the lead. Since then he has used James in every one of his films. From the first moment he saw him he loved him. Through their work together they developed a friendship and Peter was invited to live with James after they moved out of first year uni accommodation. Peter wants to be with James but though he believes that he is gay, due to James never having confirmed or denied it he is worried that he is not and does not want to jeopardise their friendship and work together if he is not. After university Peter is moving to London to start work at the bottom of the film industry and make his way up to be a director. He invited James to join him and is waiting on an answer

CHARACTER 4:
HEIDI
A final year English Literature student who met Jodie on her first day of uni moving into the same student accommodation as her. Within their first week at uni they were together. She is completely in love with Jodie and would move heaven and earth for her if she wanted to. She is who Jodie goes to to discuss Peter and James, she knows everything about both of them due to her relationship and wants them to get together. She is closer to Peter than to James due to Peter and her having similar timetables when they first moved in together in second year, developing their friendship through walking to uni together. She will move in with Jodie and start their big adult journey together after uni.
