Sam, 19, Male. The protagonist of our story. An outgoing and sociable young boy seemingly at peace with his university life though easily mis lead by his friends all in the name of “competitive spirit”. His misrun with gambling sees a completely different person revealed; tired, angry, numb and utterly lost.
Toby, 19, Male. Sam’s friend. A huge England fan and avid gambler often competing with his friends for that ‘top spot’ within the group. Whilst being rough around the edges and no stranger to a good time, Toby is Sam’s first introduction to the world of gambling.
Matt, 18, Male. Sam’s friend. Matt is the youngest of the group, and it definitely shows. He doesn’t have the ‘magic touch’ with money making like the rest of the group, but he makes up for it with his humour.
Di Jackson, 30 + Male. Police officer. Strict. Rough. Professional demeaner. Not warming of Sam’s situation nor convinced of his story.
