CASTING CALL – ‘Banish the Fear’
Student Film Shooting Early February, Bristol.

RUE (18-25)
Rue is the resident of the haunted house, plagued by the misconceptions of queer health. They’re ashamed, afraid and unable to express themself but when they meet Brook, they find the courage to express themself again.

BROOK (20-40)
Glawing, knowledgeable and fearless, Brook is the extravagant queer exorcist and drag artist in ‘Banish the Fear’. They have a powerful relationship with queer sex and understand the myths and stigmas in their community.

GHOSTS (18+)
The ghosts are spooky, eccentric and miserable. Fear-mongering creatures whose daily lives exist around spreading fear and shame. They are the physical manifestation of queer sex misconceptions. Physical acting skills are necessary for these roles.
