DAVID (MALE, 35-45)- LEAD Hard headed, single father and an absolutist. He is physically hard-working and wants the best for his son Ollie. His views on the world are specific and unchangeable, his ego enables his lack of perspective on the world and society.
OLLIE (MALE, 18-25)- LEAD An optimistic, mature yet explosive young adult. He seeks to find the meaning of life following his Christian mom’s death. He is caring and often feels judged by his father, seemingly unable to please him. Ollie is academically talented and has a small, good group of friends he finds comfort with.
FATHER SIMON (MALE,35-50)- SUPPORTING Warm and welcoming, knowledgeable in Christianity, he hopes to be a role model to those that he meets. He takes pride in his intuition but often allows his empathetic nature to cloud his conscious mind. Father Simon is a respectful and respected person in the town.
SALEEM (MALE,25-35)- SUPPORTING An intelligent and patient individual, he does not overbear others with his presence. He is soft-spoken and is constantly working to feed the poor and shelter the homeless. Saleem moved away from his previous town after being harassed by his community, he finds comfort in praying at Father Simon’s church as there is no mosque available for him to pray at.
