MARSHA- 60s Female. Has experienced trauma in childhood and holds onto those experiences which has resulted in her mental health suffering. Marsha is a professional woman who will go through an array of emotions for this role. We are seeking an actress who can convincingly express paranoia, vulnerability, humour, fear, and rational behaviour.
YOUNG MARSHA- Playing Age: 14 upwards. Female. Younger Marsha will mirror some of Marsha’s behavior while also embodying the playful, concerned, and vulnerable nature of a child seeking answers. We are looking for a talented young actress to bring this character to life.
RACHEL-40s Female. Therapist. Rachel has known Marsha through her mental health crisis at intervals over the past 20 years. As a highly skilled mental health professional, Rachel has a deep respect and admiration for Marsha. However, there are moments when Rachel’s professionalism may waver. We are seeking a talented actress to portray this complex character with depth and authenticity.
