The Secret Garden, Open Air Theatre Tour Casting Breakdown

Dates: Auditions: 10th May, Dance Attic Studios, Fulham, London
Rehearsals: 29th June – 12th July in Huntingdon (accommodation provided with own room in family home if not local)
Touring: 13th July 18th August (accommodation provided with own room as required by schedule)
Contract: £500 pw + holiday pay. Further contract details tbc, aiming to be agreed in line with Equity’s open air touring charter.

Character: Colin Craven, multi-rolling as Martha Sowerby and other smaller roles.

Essential requirements:
– Positive attitude and great work ethic
– RP and Yorkshire accent
– Shorter than 5’11”
– Youthful energy
– Good singing voice
– Great projection and diction
– Outdoor theatre and/or touring experience
– Physically able to do get ins and get outs
– Willing to work in all weathers
– Comfortable with dogs
– Happy to stay in family homes (in own room)

Bonus:
– Play an instrument
– Puppetry experience
– Driving license
– A base in London or nearby to Huntingdon
