Shooting for just one morning in mid-November in the Prestongrange area

• Liam: (Aged 9–15) A young, adventurous recluse. While out exploring with his old Polaroid camera, he spots a dark submarine surfacing briefly before it vanishes into the sea.

• Lachlan: An older fisherman with a stern but wise presence, who doesn’t entirely dismiss Liam’s claim.
