URGENT CASTING – CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY The Brookside Theatre, Romford is looking for talented, fun musical theatre performers for CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY this December.
Roles available:
Mrs Bucket: Charlie’s mum (playing age 28-40) Mezzo MT vocals. Doubles as an Oompa Loompa in Act 2 so will need good movement skills.
Mrs Teavee: Mike’s alcoholic and neurotic mother – US accent. (playing age 30-50) Mezzo vocals. Doubles as Grandma Georgina. Great character role
Mr Salt: Veruca’s Russian father and business man (playing age 35-55) Baritone character vocals. Will double as Grandpa George. Great character role
Supporting/Ensemble roles: (age 18+) Various roles including Mrs Green, Jerry & Cherry (Reporters) and Oompa Loompas. Strong performers who can dance, sing and play character roles needed.
