The matriarch, manipulative, domineering, possessive, ruthless but very funny. Runs the family building business now that dad has died. Tom Youngest son. Rebellious, angry and wants to bring mum down however he can. Shirley Tom's fiance. Innocent, likeable but with a spine of steel. Terry The middle son. Honest, hardworking and despite everything still loyal to mum. Karen Terry's wife. Happy to do anything she can to get at Mum. Very loyal to Terry. Henry The eldest son. Still at home with mum. Quiet and reserved but harbouring a dark secret.
