1. CLAIRE – (Character name will likely change.). Preferably non-white ethnicity, 20’s/30’s female. A young woman who co-runs a motorcycle clothing shop with her brother. She was the victim of a terrorist bombing in the past and now has to use a crutch/walking stick for the foreseeable future. She is traumatised by the event and experiences PTSD and a panic attack as the story unfolds. Once a passionate motorcycle rider, she’s now having to sell her pride and joy as she can’t ride anymore. Often uses humour to mask her insecurities. She also tends to make fun of her supportive, but overprotective brother. She dislikes people fussing over her. 2. BEN – White Male 40’s/50’s. A conspiracy theorist, self published author, and viral YouTuber. Conducts his own investigations into major events, with a very questionable interpretation of “evidence”. Has a large sense of self importance. Convinced that there are bigger forces at work keeping him from the “truth.” He devotes his entire life to pursuing what he believes to be the “truth” and doesn’t trust any government organisations. The internet is his entire world, and where he thrives the most. A flat-earther and believes that the moon landings never happened. He also believes that his work is of paramount importance. Has a normal boring day job, and lives with his mother. He has no real friends to speak of, although he has a legion of devoted followers online.
