CODY & MARTIN

Cody, 18-25 years old. A confident rugby athlete, who has a lot of luck with the ladies. Behind his ‘stud’ rep on campus lies a himbo with a heart of gold.

Martin, 18-25 years old. An extremely gifted science student who suffers from social awkwardness, which causes him to have no luck with the ladies.

Supporting Role
DR COMITO

Dr Comito, 40-50 years old. He is an arrogant teacher who seeks out any excuse to use his power over his students. He particularly has problems with athletically inclined students as it reminds him of how they used to bully him in school and now he has the power for once. Jobsworth, a teacher who doesn’t really give second chances out, wants every student to succeed academically though.

1. CHIOMA (main character) (30-55 playing age)- A Middle-aged, Traditional religious Nigerian mother who is working class and also a single mother. She has a very close bond with her only son, Ade, but doesn’t understand Ade’s identity/way of life – point of contention in their relationship. She is also self-assured and confident which can be overbearing.
2. ADE (main character) (17-25 playing age). A trans man (preferably pre-T), who is into photography. He is cool, calm and collected and finds strength his is identity and culture. Although feels misunderstood by his mother, he loves her dearly.
