Scenic Outdoor Theatre are casting for the below positions:
– Stoke – 1st – 10th April – male identifying actor needed for children’s story telling experience.

– Preston – 8th April – male identifying actor needed for a multi rolling static show and immersive treasure hunt.

– Liverpool – 29th, 30th and 1st May – comic needed for a short immersive show.

All roles are £100 a day, additional fees can not be provided for expenses.

‘Sophie’s Circus’

A new play for children aged 4-7 exploring mental health

Available to audition on Friday 24th March in Liverpool (UK)

DATES:

Rehearsal: Mid April (6 days)
Tour: 18th April – 19th May (Weekdays only)
Fee: ITC minimum (based on a 6 day contract). Actors will be needed for weekdays only for performances (possible Sunday travel) £494.00 per week

ROLES AVAILABLE:
Sophie: Female identifying performer Sophie has a circus in her mind. And it’s something she’s struggling to control. Sophie is a big character with a lot of vulnerability, she narrates the show, talks to the audience and goes on a huge journey of emotion. We are keen to hear from actors who can bring a youthful energy and who have a young look for this character. We’re also looking for an actor with some physical skills who can engage well with children.

MULTIROLE: Male / Female / Non-binary Performer

Awkward, sarcastic, and reserved Greg is usually a smart shy character who doesn’t pay much attention to other people. But when what he wants the most is threatened that’s when you see his mischievous side come alive.

Jack: Age 24 – 30

Confident, loud, and dramatic. Jack usually plays the character of the class clown. He is a joker by nature and often gets on well with everyone. But when it seems like the world is against him, he breaks down and his soft, dramatic, and sensitive side is put on show.

Production Dates: 23rd & 24th March
Shooting on the 23rd and 24th in south London over an estimated 2 day of work, talent will be payed £75 daily.
